Small Batch was created by Brittany and Lacy, two best friends who met at San Diego State University way back in 2003. Fast forward to 2016, Brittany and Lacy both moved to Rolando and became so inspired by the change happening on La Mesa Boulevard.  We embarked on a journey to create a retail store that would provide a thoughtful assortment of sustainable, handmade products created by local and independent brands. It was also important for us to build a sense of welcoming and community within the space. It is this reason that Small Batch loves to participate in collaborations with local brands and offers pop-ups and workshops. If you’ve stopped by Small Batch, you probably know that we are both proud dog mamas and have created Small Batch as a dog friendly space. Bring your pups on by for a treat or a pat.
