Cheeky and unmistakable, the American Flamingo can be found flocking in shallow, saline lagoons of the Caribbean and Central and northern South America. They enjoy a diet of algae and aquatic invertebrates, giving them their signature pink color. In the past, flamingos from the Bahamas would even migrate to Florida’s Everglades National Park. This patch is inspired by BirdsCaribbean, a nonprofit organization dedicated to studying and protecting birds and their habitats throughout the Caribbean. All embroidered bird patches have an iron-on backing, although the glue is only temporary. For lasting durability, we suggest sewing or using a permanent, flexible fabric adhesive. Dimensions are 1,7" wide x 2.6" tall.
